Flowers / CS

Released in 1998, Flowers (Europe etc.) and Cruel Summer (USA etc.) was the third album from Ace of Base.  The album saw Linn step back even further and Jenny singing the majority of vocals. The names Flowers was chosen as each song has a different feel, like flowers in a bunch.  The album sold over 4 million copies worldwide.  It was not as successful in the Americas as it was in Europe, and ended up being the last studio album to be released there.

The French album features a version of Cruel Summer featuring French boyband Alliage.
The Japanese album features a bonus track:  Into the Night of Blue.
Life is a Flower is replaced with Whenever You’re Near Me in USA/Canada.
There are small differences in the songs He Decides and Donnie  between Flowers and Cruel Summer.
