• #2 in Denmark, #5 in Italy, Sweden and the UK, #7 in Spain, #15 in Austria, #18 in Switzerland, #19 in Ireland, #20 in Norway and Germany and #29 in New Zealand.
• The song was rewritten for America.  This version, with different lyrics, was written in a lower key and titled “Whenever You’re Near Me”
• “Whenever You’re Near Me” was written by Mike Chapman who also wrote the lyrics to “Always Have, Always Will”
• “Whenever You’re Near Me” reached #71 in Canada and #76 in America
