Congratulations to Jenny for a stunning performance in the Dansk Melodi Grand Prix, the competition to select who will represent Denmark at this year’s Eurovision Song Contest. The event was a one-night affair and Jenny was a wildcard entry, as were 3 others of the total 10 participants.

Unfortunately, Jenny wasn’t amongst the top four finalists.  The winner of the contest was “A Friend in London” with their song New Tomorrow.

I’m sure you’ll agree that Jenny’s song Let Your Heart Be Mine is an amazing song, and Jenny performed it brilliantly.  The song is available in the Danish iTunes.  If you’re not in Denmark…  Yarr.

Competing in Eurovision is something Jenny has always wanted to do (presumably with Ace of Base) but it had never worked out. Denmark was a natural choice for Jenny as the country had always been a lot more receptive of Ace of Base than Sweden was; it was the country where Ace of Base first struck big.  And even though she wasn’t the winner tonight, she impressed a hell of a lot of fans with an even-better-than-usual performance.  After the competition she posted this message on Facebook:  You make my broken dreams fly again! Thank you for support! I had a blast!!
