I dunno… i guess the mix. It’s my favourite. Not to do one thing but to do a litle of each. I’ve always done that. Always blended, all my life.
After hear I am gotta go is now your second single… And if we look at the lyrics… everyone must now know Jenny is on her own. No longer a part of Ace of Base… Here I am a very clear message I think… and Gotta Go… when I look at the lyrics… ” is this a hidden message to your brother? “It’s a little too late to call me now?” Or what will you tell us about this song?
This is a song that is about an abuse that has been going on for years and years between two persons, and it doesn’t have to be me. The song is about leaving and breaking up. And I think making it a song about me and my brother would make it rather stupid I think it has a deeper meaning, and I wanted it for everyone out there who lives in a relationship that they should leave, please do leave because it’s gonna benefit you as a person in the end. So much _____ story than mine could ever be…I’ve never been abused that way.

Umm it’s on Universal…. so I think it’s gonna be out there and I’m planning… And right now I just ask people to open it up for the States, For Germany, and for UK and in different channels so everyone will be able to listen to it and purchase it.
This week your brother will release his new single “All For You” here in Germany. Have you contact with each other regarding the music or just private?
No we don’t have any contact business wise. We do have some contact of course, personally… he sent a text message saying he liked Gotta Go and I’m happy about that.
Did you tell him you liked “All For You”?
Umm, I didn’t actually. I haven’t heard it, so much… I’m trying to focus very much doing my stuff. I’ve heard that, I’ve seen the video and everything… but I think they’re doing a good job promoting them.. and I have to concentrate on promoting me.
Will there be a video shoot for Gotta Go?
We’re planning on it. We’ve started working on it but I’m not sure if we’re gonna be able to finish that, since we’re working so hard on the album right now. So right now, NO… but later… I don’t think I can hold myself back, I will do one I think. But it’s just up to you guys, your fans to put something nice together, and you can send me ideas that you have for the song. I already read some messages on Facebook and Twitter [about] what I could do… and I just like it very very much and I like the cars part.

The fight for Ace Of Base
In the 90s Ace Of Base was one of the biggest pop groups. Since then, members have gone their separate ways to pursue their respective careers. Now Berggren siblings fighting for the rights to the band name .

On Friday leaked song " Mr. Replay " on the net to pen Ace Of Base – and Ulf Ekberg of Amusement sheet confirms that it is he and Jonas Berggren behind the demo version .

Two unknown girls
The clip on Youtube of the song illustrated a picture of him, Jonas Berggren and two unknown girls. Ulf Ekberg says he looks forward to a comeback – and he sees no obstacles to run under the name Ace Of Base, although not all the original members remain.
“The paper that we can – do it. Under the deal signed on Ace Of Base in 1991 and still valid,” he says .
But the name of the use is not supported by Ace Of Base one original singer, who is also Jonas Berggren’s sister, Jenny Berggren, 38 , who in the autumn releases her first solo album.

“Mr Replay” was released a few days ago to CD Pool, a company that distributes up-coming tracks to music DJs and clubs. Word is that Mr Replay is an album track but not a single.
The YouTube clip below was released a couple of weeks ago. Apparently it’s an “unintentional leak” but it looks pretty intentional to me. The first 15 seconds is “Let it Play (on the radio), supposedly an upcoming single and the latter half of the clip is “Black Sea”.

Sweden is a country known for many famous pop groups like Abba, Roxette, Ace of Base, The Cardigans. Hi Jenny, tell me how does it feel to go solo?
- It’s one big "at last!". It has been a long time coming. I have slipped away and made some of my own stuff in Ace of Base time also, but now I step out.
Have you finished with Ace of Base?
- Absolutely not. But right now I felt I had to do this. We did not come on, we had a hard time getting signed and I felt that I needed music in my life. But Ace of Base still exists, this is just something I must do. And there is nothing unusual in itself, a bit like what Fergie in Black Eyed Peas did.
The new single is called "Here I am", tell us about it.
- The first time I heard it, there was only the chorus, I asked to write a verse to it, because I thought it was so good. So I went home and wrote. I relied on myself and how I felt, it’s all about my faith and my relationship with God. If he reaches everywhere. I was sitting in a super luxury hotel rooms in Canada once and felt so alone and so empty. It is hardly to live where the superstar life. It’s a crazy journey to make. I was surrounded by luxury and success and yet I felt only emptiness. In just a few lines so I felt so strongly how it pointed to things I been through in my life. I felt that I was tired of chasing emptiness.
Many people I talked to describe you as "very religious", and then I get that gay little prejudiced "worried" … What is your attitude towards homosexuality?
- Haha, I have many homosexuals in my vicinity. And I believe God is for us all. Who am I to judge? I believe in love. I also realized that Ace of Base meant a lot to people. When we played on the "Night of the Proms" in Antwerp, highlighted a guy to me after the show. I realized he was gay and that he felt unwell and that he had intended to end his life. But before he could take his life as he listened to "Beautiful Life" and there and then he decided not to end his life. He told this to us all and the tears ran down his cheeks. I am still moved when I think about it. So I believe God reaches everybody. And will not people to church so he may well take to the streets. And that’s where my responsibility lies.
So you do not think it is a sin to have sex with someone of the same sex?
- I’m not God. You asking if I judge people by what they do in bed, the answer is no. Have never done. If you ask God, you get the answer that he gave his life for you because He loves you. The question is how you want to respond to that love? "
Tonight you should behave in Paradise, what can you expect from it?
- Wow, I think it will be great fun. I have asked a lot before this gig, I want it to be as good. I am super psyched.
What do you play, it becomes something of Ace of Base?
- Yes, I think people would be disappointed otherwise. Don’t you? So I will do two original songs and two songs-Ace.
Why do you do your first performance at a gay club?
- Why not? I work with many gay people and it has actually become so that I work a lot with people outside the church. There is no point in well there too.
You recently released an autobiography "Win the whole world", what do you prefer, to buy your book or your disc?

Has it worn on your relationship as siblings?
- Yes, but also built. We’re adults, all three. When we went out and launched the second album we had already been gone for two years, so this time we took with our parents. We felt that we did not want to be away from them for so long. And it was fun for them to be on the trips.
What will you do at the weekend after your performance at the Paradise?
- My husband is of course with me on stage so we will go home to our two children in Gothenburg. But first, we celebrate a little well of course …
