Preview of Jenny’s New Solo Project up
Dec 27th
Jenny and her creative team have put up a new video on her official website, www.jennyberggren.com
The video shows the transition from Jenny as a member of Ace of Base, to becoming ‘free’ as a solo artist.
Though some fans have shown unease that the earlier segments of the video occasionally show Jenny singing to Linn’s vocals, the majority of fans are impressed and excited about this first glimpse at Jenny’s song “Free Me”.
Poland Why-Not Project – news from AceofBase.pl
Dec 19th
Ulf and Jonas are in Poland taking part in a project that involves famous polish singers and some world famous record producers (including Jim Beans from Timbaland).
Here, on the 16th December, three Acer Fans were treated to a preview of four new Ace of Base songs. The songs were reported to be upbeat, suitable for dancing. The songs are not yet 100% polished. The songs have a similar sound to Lady Gaga, whilst still retaining the Ace of Base sound.
Song #1 is reported by fans to be in the same style of Love In December, though Ulf says its more like Beautiful Life.
Song #2 is also very good. Great beat, very catchy.
Song #3 has a rap, but not by Ulf
Song #4 sorta like “Never gonna say I’m sorry” but not as good as first two songs.
A new meeting in the new year will give Acers an opportunity to hear more music.
The two new singers, found by Martin Dodd are both blonde, with one having slightly darker hair.

Ulf & Jonas working with Timbaland?
Dec 14th
Ulf’s internet entrepreneur business partner Jan Karel has twittered that Ulf & Jonas are now in Prague recording new songs with Timbaland and 2 new vocalists.
Very interesting news – but why is it coming from him of all people?
This also confirms twitter postings by an unknown source who is believed to be close to Ulf.
Initial responses from fans are a mix of excitement, but also grief – the loss of the bands original line up.

Speculation
Dec 10th
There has been a lot of speculation recently about Jenny having left Ace of Base, and the band adding two new female singers to the band.
Lets be clear – nothing official has been said along these lines. All we have heard officially is:
1) Jenny has said on her Twitter page that Ace of Base could not get an album out as a 3some, which is why she is concentrating on a solo career
and a somewhat conflicting:
2) Ulf, as a judge on Swedish Idol saying Ace of Base is still in the studio, releasing an album next year.
It’s hard to predict what will actually happen… but it is very apparent that fans are getting fed up with all the lies over the years.
